About Us

Hi, I’m Aaron Chavez, a Spokane based chainsaw carver/sculptor and coach. For years I’ve been sharing my love of carving with people who want more than just a hobby, they want an unforgettable experience.

Once a month, starting in March, I offer a fun, inspiring, hands on two-day Chainsaw Carving Retreat where you will learn chainsaw safety, carving techniques, saw control, finishing methods, and how to turn a raw log into a piece of art you will be proud to take home.

I am now scheduling the first camps for Spring 2026 and space will be limited.

Who attends these Retreats?

This is for people and teams who want something way cooler than another weekend on the couch or sitting in a conference room listening to someone talk about teamwork.

Our retreats bring together beginners who have never touched a chainsaw, couples chasing a date story nobody else has, teams looking for a one of a kind team building experience, fathers and sons, mothers and daughters, friends who refuse to be boring, and intermediate carvers ready to level up.

You will meet bird nerds, bear fans, eagle enthusiasts, nature lovers, creative dabblers, and brave souls who woke up one morning and thought, I should probably carve a log with a chainsaw today.

Ages 15 and up are welcome with parent authorization, and yes, they usually end up being better than the adults.
