Register for spring and summer carving camps!
At the beginning of day 1 we will start by reviewing the different parts of a chainsaw, common safety mistakes, and how to stay safe while carving.
During day one we will also learn different carving strategies and techniques to help your carvings come to life. These carving tips will help put into place foundational skills you will need to progress as a carver after the camp is over.
Understanding the basic blocking steps and type of cuts for bears, eagles or owls is one of the most important skills to carving. Without it it's hard to get any carving to look right. We will also be covering furing and feathering techniques.
